The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) wanted to celebrate engineering with a permanent exhibit. We chose an analog solution that would provide a unique physical experience creating mechanical functionality that aligns the visual language with the language of engineering.

A Smart world with an abundance of intelligent ambient devices leads to a healthier population. Most people trust the reliability of the nutrition insights they get from their devices and are able to make informed choices for their personal dietary needs.

Scenario: Sitting on a Knife’s Edge

Technology has afforded a great improvements to the health of society. Informated farms have the capacity to stabilize the food system, but companies and consumers alike stand in the way of an efficiently automated system.

Trust and Control

Growing populations and water shortages are causing problems in the food system. Geo-engineering solves short-term shortages but causes problems of it own. New migrations of people cause chaos, but eventually a more resilient and localized food system arrives

Pepsico Future Insights: Disruptive Innovation Video Series

Strategy Studio was asked to help PepsiCo tell the story of disruptive innovation and its potential impact to company’s future. Using SME interviews and animated infographics, we explained and visualized what this megatrend might mean to the beverage and food giant.
